I am so honored to have been nominated for the Liebster award 6 times (wow!) by The Petite PearlA Flower in the Rough, Really Truly Ruth, Sunshine & A Little Pink, Grace and Fashion, and Elly's Avenue! I think that this is such a great award, it really helps burgeoning bloggers get their blog out there and for others to discover amazing blogs that are often hidden in cyberspace. If you don't know what the Liebster award is, it is an award that highlights new bloggers with less than 200 followers with great blogs in order to meet new bloggers and get to know one another better.

What the Rules Are:

-Thank and link the blogger(s) who have nominated you.
-Nominate about eleven bloggers (with less than two hundred followers and whom you think deserves the award. Don't forget to leave a link to their blogs!)
-Answer the eleven questions posted by the blogger(s) who have nominated you, then write eleven new questions for your nominees to answer.
-Notify your nominees.

Since I have been nominated 6 times (wow!) I have all the answers in order of who nominated me first to who nominated me last. Some questions have been repeated, so I just answered them once.

Answers to Faith's Questions

What do you enjoy most about blogging?
I think that my favorite thing about blogging is taking the pictures. I don't know much about photography, but I still enjoy snapping pictures away. This is especially true for vacation posts, which I have not done a lot of, but hopefully I'll do some blogging during my next vacation. Taking pictures is a great way to document my life, I can look back on them and remember the adventures that I had, and I can also experiment around with a camera and try out different angles and such.

If you could have any super power, what would it be?
I'm honestly not exactly sure what super power I would want. I think that I would love the ability to teleport, that would be amazing to not have to worry about driving to and from places or long flights. However, I also think that it would be really cool if I could freeze time. I often feel like I don't have enough time in a day and would love it if I could just slow down and have a chance to relax and/or finish everything I have to do.

If you could meet any person- living or deceased- who would it be and why?
This is a difficult question for me. I don't think that there is a specific person that I would like to meet. However, would love to meet another blogger who is more experienced so that I can learn about their journey and their blogging experience.

If you could travel anyplace in the world, where would you most like to visit? Or, where is your favorite place you have been?
There are probably about a million places that I'd like to visit, so I'll answer with my favorite place I have been. This is very typical, but I'm going to have to go with Italy. I loved visiting Venice, as touristy as it was, as well as the Almafi Coast. I went about five years ago and would really like to visit Italy again.

What or who inspires you most?
There was a point at which I was really into youtube and such, and that's what got me started with my blog. I'd have to say that I'm inspired by some youtubers as well as bloggers. Carly Heitlinger, Olivia Purvis, Carrie Harwood are a few of the people that inspire me.

What is one thing that you could not live without?
As the incredibly materialistic person that I am, I could not live without either my phone or my laptop. I'm connected 24/7 and I honestly don't know what I'd be doing with my spare time without them.

What is your dream job?
I've always struggled with discovering what my dream job would be. I think that my dream career would be in graphic design. I know little to nothing about graphic design, but I'm obsessive with layout and formatting and want to do something that I can be creative with.

What is the most bizarre thing you have ever done or tried?
As a very normal person, I have not done any incredibly bizarre things. I'm not exactly sure if this classifies, but about three or four years ago I visited Jamaica and I climbed a waterfall. This is much less bizarre than it sounds, because typically when the word, waterfall, is mentioned, an image of a steep waterfall pops up. However, the waterfall that I climbed was not tall, mostly rocky.

What is your favorite book or movie and why?
As a very indecisive person, I struggled a lot with this question. This is incredibly unoriginal, but I really like The Fault in Our Stars, the book, not the movie. I know that some people find it boring and/or cliché, but I really enjoyed it. What I find captivating about it is that the characters are easy to fall in love with and become emotionally attached with.

Who are your main style icons? How would you describe your personal style?
My main style icons are probably Zoe Sugg and Carly Heitlinger. I would describe my personal style as girly and somewhat preppy.

What is something interesting about yourself that someone wouldn't guess about you?
I have never seen a single Harry Potter movie or read a single Harry Potter book. I know lots of people that think I'm crazy when I say that I have never done so, but I've just never been very interested in Harry Potter.

Answers to Desirae's Questions

Favorite guilty pleasure song?
I really like East of Eden by Zella Day, but I also love many songs by Birdy.

If you could switch closets with anyone, who would you choose?
I would probably switch closets with Carly Heitlinger or Zoe Sugg. They both have very different styles, but my style tends to be more of a mixture of both.

What is your Starbucks order?
As a person that doesn't like coffee, I know, shocking, I'd go for something not too heavily coffee based. I can't stand plain black coffee but don't mind a hint of the taste, so I usually opt for a mocha.

What is the oldest article of clothing you own in your closet?
I have a school t-shirt from kindergarten still in my drawers. The pathetic thing is, I can still manage to squeeze into it with some effort. In kindergarten, that shirt was basically a dress on me.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
I'm actually not quite sure. I have lots of places that I'd like to go and I've already been to many places that I wanted to go to. A few places that I'd like to visit are Australia, China, and Japan.

Favorite childhood movie?
What kind of person would I be if I didn't love High School Musical? That movie is absolutely iconic and is one of my many Disney Channel favorites.

Where is your favorite place to shop?
I had a hard time thinking of a favorite, but I think that it might actually be Forever 21. It's true, it takes forever to find nice stuff there and the quality may not be as nice as J. Crew or Loft, but the prices are super low and I've found quite a few nice finds from there.

Serena Van Der Woodsen or Blair Waldorf?
Although I love them both, I'd have to go with Blair. I like Blair's outfits more and like me, she tends to worry a lot about her future and try and keep everything nice and organized. Serena is not like me at all, but I do adore Serena as well.

Favorite social media to use?
Originally it was Tumblr, but lately I've been using Instagram much more. You can visit my Instagram and my Tumblr. I guess that they are both picture-oriented, similarly to my blog, so that's why I like them.

Favorite school subject?
My favorite subject typically depends on the teacher. However, the past few years I've been, surprisingly, liking history. I've just been finding it more and more interesting learning about the secrets of the past as I grow up.

How do you define happiness?
Happiness is hard to describe, I think that happiness is a time where you feel loved and a sense of purpose in the world. As I think about this question, I find it harder and harder to answer. Happiness is a feeling of warmth and positivity and hope.

Answers to Ruth's Questions

What is your favorite genre of music and why?
I've never really had a favorite genre of music. As an indecisive person, I just can't settle, However, I listen to a lot of pop music and calming music (if that's even a genre).

Are you a sports lover?
Absolutely not. I'm terrible at sports and it's just not my cup of tea.

Are you an only child? If not, how many siblings do you have?
I am not an only child. I have one sister.

Why did you start blogging?
I happen to really love reading blog posts. I guess I just got inspired by bloggers and I also really love fashion, so my blog just kind of came naturally.

What is your favorite food?
Pasta. I eat pasta way too often and I'll likely never get sick of it. In a close second to pasta, I also really love mashed potatoes.

What advice would you give to a new blogger?
Write about what you love! If you're trying to get your blog out there, the best way is to use social media, because then you can meet new bloggers and learn from their experiences, as well as make your blog a little more known to the general public.

Answers to Angela's Questions

How did you come up with the title of your blog?
I really have no deeper meaning to my blog name, I just wanted something that sounded cute. I knew that I wanted my name in it and then I just added a cute adjective, and thus, Sunny Rebecca was born.

What are some goals you hope to achieve through blogging?
In reality, I didn't have any goals when I started blogging and I still don't. I mostly blog because I like it and it's a way for me to look back on my life and such when I grow up.

Online shopping vs. going to the mall- which do you prefer?

Online shopping is much better if you know exactly what you want, because then you can specify in order to find what you want. However, if you're just browsing, then I definitely prefer the mall, because you don't have to click through dozens of pages to find something you like and you can try it on to see if it fits and looks good on you. I'd probably say that I prefer going to the mall, because it's just nicer to be able to see how things look in person.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I feel like I would really love living in Paris, but since I don't speak French, I'm not sure if that's an option. I would love to live in California, London, or possibly New York. I would just really like living in a bigger city.

If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you would do with your winnings?

I would probably save it, but I guess that the first payment that I would make with my winnings would be a trip. I love traveling and I feel like that would be a nice way to spend my winnings.

What makes your blog unique compared to other blogs?

What makes my blog unique (hopefully) are my style choices as well as my writing choices. I try to write casually, as if I'm just talking to a friend and I guess everyone's fashion style is unique.

What is your favorite time of the year?

I really love the time in late November to early January, where there's just a lot of cheer for the holidays. There are so many decorations and everyone is generally in a good mood. It's just a festive time of year and I love that feeling. There's just a sense of togetherness and excitement.
What's one major thing on your wish list right now?

This doesn't exactly count as major, but I have just seen the new Lilly agendas and am super excited to get one. The patterns are stunning, as always, and cute stationery always empowers me to be more organized.

Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts, and what is your usual order?

This may come as a shocker, but I rarely go to either. I don't like coffee, so that's a problem with Starbucks, although I do love the scent of the place. When I go there I'll usually just get a hot chocolate, but otherwise I just don't even go there. As for Dunkin' Donuts, I do enjoy donuts, but I don't exactly love them or anything. I'll stop at Dunkin' Donuts every once in a while and if I do I'll get a Boston cream donut.

Answers to Grace's Questions

What is your favorite quote?
My favorite quote is, "She decided to start living the life she had imagined," because it really covers how I've been changing my life lately to fit what I want. In the past, I went with the flow and did the things that everyone did, but now I'm trying to take control of my life so that it's a life that I love. For example, I'm not very confident or outgoing and I'm trying to change that.

What's your favorite TV show?
If you asked me two years ago, the answer would have been Gossip Girl. I had a moment in time when I was absolutely obsessed with it. Yes, I still enjoy it now, but not nearly as much as I used to. Now, I think that my favorite TV show is Revenge. It just ended recently, but I still love it. The story is about a girl named Emily, who enters the Hamptons with the intentions of getting revenge on the people that had framed her father for a terrorist attack years ago. It's dramatic and gripping, so it always keeps you on your feet.

If you could meet one celebrity, who would it be?
The thing is, I'm not that intrigued by celebrities. Yes, they're definitely magnificent people, but I don't necessarily know if there's any particular celebrity that I want to meet. I think that it would be really interesting to happen to run into someone famous, but I don't know if I would seek out to meet a celebrity.

What's one thing you can't leave the house without?
This is a pretty generic answer, but it's my phone. I need it. All the time. Whether I just need it to pass the time or to actually get things done, I'm so attached to my phone.

How long have you been blogging?
I have been blogging since September of 2014.

Answers to Elly's Questions

What's your dream for your blog in the future? Where do you hope it takes you?
My hopes for the blog is that it grows and becomes more professional. Within the time that I first created my blog and today, I've definitely seen some huge improvements with my design, graphics, content, everything. I would love if I could grow the community and audience as well as connect with some other bloggers and maybe even companies in the future.

If you could have personally witnessed anything, what would you want to see?
If you're referring to a moment in history, I think that it would be fun to witness the "Roaring 20s." It seems like such a fun time to live in, probably because the Great Gatsby has influenced my idea of the 20s.

If you have one, what's your favorite word?
I don't necessarily think that I have a favorite word.

What do you value most about yourself?
My creativity. Ever since I was little, I was always creative. I loved doing crafts and drawings and I especially liked designing clothes, although I would probably never pursue it as a career. However, my creativity made me more than just someone who is "smart," since I've always done well in school. It gives me a chance to do incredible things, like this blog that I wouldn't be able to do if I wasn't as creative.

What's your favorite and least favorite thing to spend money on?
My favorite thing to spend money on is obviously clothes. I love shopping for clothes, even though I'm super selective and usually end up going to the store and buying nothing. However, I feel so good about myself when I make a new purchase because clothes make me feel more confident. It's like stepping into another skin. My least favorite thing to spend money on is probably like makeup and stuff. The thing is that it's sooo overpriced. I always feel really bad about spending a lot of money on just a few products.

What are you most proud of?
I think that I'm most proud of where my blog has come to be. It has evolved so much from that first post. I've learned so much in such a small amount of time about photography and writing and all that blogging stuff. I have also definitely learned more about creating graphics and I'm just really proud with the way that my blog looks today.

What skill would you like to learn and why?
If you had asked me a year ago, it probably would have been HTML and CSS. For the longest time, I was trying to learn it at home and was totally struggling. However, I have successfully managed to learn it. Building off of that, I would love to learn more with web design and maybe even app development. I've started learning JavaScript, but it's just so confusing to me and I'm really unmotivated to learn it.

What age to you feel you are right now and why?
I feel like I'm 20. I'm definitely mature for my age, and even though I'm not 20, I sometimes act like it. I try my hardest to be organized and responsible, but I'm also very independent.
