While I tend to stay more on the fashion and lifestyle side of things, I decided to venture into the beauty world of blogging for a change. While I don't wear makeup often because let's be honest, I value my sleep and am not willing to put in the extra effort to wear it daily, but for special occasions I sometimes do. When I do wear makeup, these are my favorite products.

This first product is the Naked 2 basics palette. While eyeshadow sounds fun and interesting, I don't look that great with eyeshadow on and requires extra effort. Whenever I see pictures of eyeshadow palettes online, I always think that they look super pretty, for example, I love the Naked 3 palette because of it's rose toned shades, except I don't actually need that much eyeshadow. The Naked 2 basics palette has more than enough shades for me to pick from, I pretty much only use the lighest color and the two darkest ones.

Since I'm not one for foundation, Benefit's boi-ing concealer is the way to go. I don't like using foundation, since I don't need much coverage, only a tiny bit to cover up the redness around my nose and some other spots. I prefer concealers, because I can just cover what I need to. This is my favorite concealer at the moment, mostly because it fits my skin tone really well, plus I can apply it without a brush, which makes it a whole lot easier for me to apply quickly.

I have never been a huge fan of mascara, since it always makes my eyelashes look spidery and unnatural, Benefit's roller lash mascara has quickly become my favorite mascara. I picked this one up partially because of the packaging (Benefit has the cutest packaging!), but mostly because I had read a review online that said that it curled out the lashes that tend to curl inwards towards the eye. Since my eyelashes (only on one eye, which is strange), tend to curl inwards, I thought that I would try this one out and loved it. This one fits my eye shape really well and stays on for such a long time. Fun fact, I once cried, don't ask why, while I was wearing this mascara and not a bit of it smudged, even though it never said that it was waterproof. Plus, can we please talk about that packaging? I'm in love!

I think that this Bare Minerals original powder foundation is probably the beauty product that I find most useful, besides the concealer, since these kind of go hand in hand. I'm a strong believer in using a powder whenever you have any concealer, foundation, or even primer on and this one sets anything well. Even if I'm not wearing any makeup, this powder makes my face matte but also applies a light coverage, plus it has SPF, you have to be sure to protect your skin!

I'll just go ahead and say that this eyeliner is not the easiest to use. Benefit's They're Real Pushup liner can be a little tricky to use at first, but once you get the hang of it, it feels easy to swipe on. The best thing about this eyeliner is that it is completely waterproof, like I mean completely. It stays on through practically anything. However, the downside of this product is that it tends to leave very thick lines. Many liquid liners offer you a bit more freedom in the thickness of your line, from very thin to whatever your heart's desire, but this eyeliner's thinnest lines is still a bit thick, making it a little dramatic for my liking, but it's okay for me personally, since I only wear eyeliner for special occasions.

What are your beauty loves?

    1. I LOVE the roller lash mascara! I think that the eyeliner is fun to try, but it's not for everyone, it's a hit or miss. People tend to either love it or hate it.
