Can we just have a moment to appreciate outfits that are comfy and cute? This is one of them! This outfit is so simple, yet it's cute and comfortable and perfect for fall. It's been such a long time since I've done an outfit post, but this one is just so fantastic that I needed to. I love outfits 1) make me feel confident in and 2) are super cozy and this one fits both of the requirements. I'm beginning to wear a lot more sweaters nowadays as the weather gets cooler, so this one is definitely going to be a new go-to look for when I'm a) lazy and/or b) chilly.

I'm going to start with the booties, which I am absolutely obsessed with. They're these simple leather high heeled booties in the Chelsea style. They're so simplistic, but they match with literally anything, from jeans to leggings to even skirts. Honestly, they make me feel so confident. There's just something about them that make me feel good, plus they're so cute for the fall weather, especially with any sweater. I got these on sale at the end of the winter last year from Nordstrom, they're the Aletta Chelsea boot from Summit. They're comfortable, but they do make a clicking noise when I walk, which at first bothered me, but now I can deal with. Unfortunately, they are no longer in stock, but I found a pair that's similar here, and there are lots of other similar designs, as this is a very simple design.

As for the top, I' wearing this blue and white grid patterned button down that I got from Marshall's, which tends to have Madewell-esque kind of style going on. It was super inexpensive though in comparison to Madewell, about $15 (not sure of the exact price). I purchased this top quite a white ago, but here's a similar one! Over top of the button down I paired it with a boyfriend cardigan from Charlotte Russe, which I am loving, because it's super comfortable and warm. The knit is chunky, which I really have been liking as opposed to the normal cardigans with a thinner knit, because it not only makes the sweater softer and warmer, but adds a more Autumnal look. This sweater is in olive green, which is such a fashionable color nowadays. I'm finding that it pairs super easily, since it's a simple earthy tone.

Lastly, I'm wearing a pair of high-waisted jeans from Gap. I've cuffed them at the bottom, just because the jeans are a little bit long (I'm not that tall) and because it looked better cuffed with the booties, since it doesn't cover them. I don't know what it is about them, but the high-waisted jeans just make this outfit a lot more fashionable overall and less "I just rolled out of bed", making this look cute, even though it's super comfortable. These jeans fit really well on me, but jeans are always a matter of your figure, since the cuts vary so much. I actually did a post putting the spotlight on high waisted jeans here, covering some styling tips as well as where to get them from.
