Still don't know what you're going to be for Halloween? I created these 4 last minute Halloween costumes with things that you probably have at home. Fun fact: I totally came up with this post on a whim and didn't prepare for a single costume idea and pulled all of these together from things that I happened to have at home already. If I can do it, so can you!

Wednesday Addams

From the Addams family, the somber Wednesday Addams is so easy to pull together at the last minute. All you need is a black dress with a white peter pan collar and the ability to do basic braids. You can also wear black tights, which are totally optional, but if it's chilly night bothers you, tights will still work with this outfit and keep you warmer. Whenever anyone asks you who you are, just say, "This is my costume, I'm a homicidal maniac. They look like everybody else." Dark, but a true quote from Wednesday Addams herself.

Holly Golightly

Ever seen Breakfast at Tiffany's? Even if you haven't, this costume look is SO EASY. All you need is a little black dress (which you should definitely have, because it's practically a fashion essential), some pearls, and basic knowledge on how to do your hair in a bun. Yes, I am aware that in the movie she is wearing a crown as well as sunglasses and a pair of black gloves, but those are optional. What's most important is simply the dress, the pearls, and the bun.

Greek Goddess

Potentially one of the easiest costumes to pull together, the only things you need to be a Greek Goddess this Halloween is a white bedsheet and safety pins. Sure, some people are less than willing to wear a bedsheet around for the night, but if you wear it with confidence, there's a 100% chance that you can work that toga! There are tons of tutorials online for how to tie a toga, this is the one I used, but there are so many others out on the internet that you can use. The belt and laurel wreath are optional, but the belt does a nice job of keeping the toga together and the laurel just adds an extra bit of Greek flair. I'm literally wearing a gold necklace as a laurel, but sometimes you just have to make it work. I found a DIY laurel crown online that you can make if you're feeling ambitiously crafty.

Little Red Riding Hood

To dress as little red riding hood for Halloween, I wore a red dress, which you can wear with a white apron over it if you happen to have one, but I wore a white shortsleeve button down instead for a pop of white. I also wore a cape which I actually had from quite a few Halloweens ago, but I'm aware that most people don't have things like that lying around, but I found a DIY cape that you can make if you're up for it. Along with that, you can also accessorize with some knee high socks or tights, which are optional, and carry a basket along with you (this is great for trick or treating because it goes along with your costume) to finish off the look.
