This upcoming week is going to be busy, busy, busy. Not in terms of having a lot to do, but more in terms of not having the time. However, I'm still right on top of things and managing everything somehow. But that isn't going to get me down, because I'm going to make today and the whole week great. And how, might you ask? I'm going to be reading (and sharing) the best content of the internet to brighten my day and get me ready to take on the week!

Let's make this Monday great. #morningslikethese

One // Where's the Personality?

I stumbled upon this gem while I was browsing through my twitter feed and I definitely agree with some of these points. Blogging has become about creating a perfect life and an exterior happiness that in a way, it has lost the personality in it. I have to admit that I'm guilty of doing this too. I used to pretend that my life was more glamorous than it actually is in previous blog posts, but as of recently, I've been trying to make my blog about me, the real me. I've been trying to be more honest on my blog and less about being professional and more about being real and authentic.

Two // 10 Things You Need to Learn to Start Living the Life of Your Dreams

I think that I've mentioned a few times that one of my all time favorite quotes is, "She decided to start living the life she'd imagined." But how can you actually start living the life that you'd imagined, it's not as easy as reciting the quote. However, here are ten things that you need to learn if you want to start living the life of your dreams. They can help boost your confidence and help you find more of a purpose in life.

Three // 5 Lies You Believed About "Being a Grown Up"

I was starting to pick out courses for the next school year last week when I came about the realization that wow, I'm getting old. Obviously I'm still very young, but I'm getting dangerously close to having to become an adult. When I was younger, I used to want to grow up and have that independence, but now I'm realizing that I'm not exactly ready to grow up. I know, I sound like I'm reciting lines from Peter Pan, but it's true. But to make adulthood seem less scary, this guest post from Maxie McCoy on Carly's blog (the College Prepster) covers 5 lies about adulthood.

Four // The Anatomy of Why We Love Stripes

I found this post super interesting because when it popped up on my Bloglovin feed, I thought to myself, wow, I never realized why I love stripes. For as long as I could remember, I've liked stripes. Maybe it was because my mom liked them and my sister liked them. But why do we actually like stripes? Sophie (Normally in Navy) explains the reason why stripes are so well liked.

Five // Dealing with Disappointment

Dealing with disappointment is inevitable, but it's not easy. Everyone has had at least one moment in their life, if not more, where they have had to face disappointment. This post on History in High Heels covers a very personal moment of disappointment and how she learned to come to terms with it and how it even led to something better, an advantage.
