I sadly write this post to you with spring break officially over. Honestly, it went by so fast that I'm not even sure that it really happened. (Want to know what I did during break? There's a post coming on Wednesday, but here's a snippet.) I know that a lot of people's spring breaks have already been over and they have gotten over the post-break depression, but I'm just getting into it myself. Luckily, I'm prepared for this week (at least, I'd like to think so..) and have pulled together both the best of the internet and a video for this Monday. Even though this Monday totally hurts to have to get back to reality, hopefully these gems of the internet will make it a tiny bit better.

One // Self Care - For Those Who Really Struggle to Switch Off

You might already know that I'm a big believer in self-care and self-love. However, I understand that the desire to be productive sometimes overrules the desire to care for yourself. Luckily, this post has some reminders and advice for the kind of people that just can't put their work down and relax.

Two // Strategies to Beat the 2016 Instagram Update

It seems that all anyone has been talking about is the Instagram update. I get it, sometimes we just want to battle change. I've heard a lot of people complaining about it because they are afraid that their pictures will be placed below those huge popular accounts. However, I LOVED Morgan's post because it not only painted the change in a new perspective, but taught me how to embrace the change.

Three // Can You Spot These 10 Thinking Sins?

If you haven't fallen prey to these ten thinking sins, you're lying. This post highlights thinking sins that everyone has that not only discourages them, but also makes them more unhappy. While it targets the problem, it also explores the solution to turning them into positive thoughts. Let's stop letting these thinking sins clog our minds and let's look to a positive growth mindset.

Four // Bridal Portrait Style Shoot

Jessica Whitaker has the absolute best photography videos. Every time that I watch them, I'm completely mesmerized. Her pictures have a kind of depth to them, almost ethereal feel. This video shows what happens outside of the photo and the way that the shoot really took place. While I was watching this video, I was surprised to see the end of it, because it went by so quickly with me oohing and ahhing over each and every photo. Honestly, can she please take my bridal pictures someday?

Five // How to Create a Beautiful Instagram Feed

Even if you didn't read the second post about how to beat the 2016 Instagram update, it's a given that in order to succeed throughout it, you'll need to create beautiful pictures and an equally beautiful Instagram feed. Let's be honest, not all of us are naturally as talented with taking gorgeous pictures like Jessica Whitaker. However, Cristina (Cristina Was Here) has some tips for how to improve your feed and take better pictures to up your instagram game.
